Privacy Policy

Closed Loop keeps this simple: we collect the least we can, we do not sell your data, and the only personal information we ask for is an email address, and only when you choose to give it.

What we collect

• Email address, when you subscribe to the newsletter or unlock a full build in the planner. That is the only personal detail we ask for.
• Basic analytics, if analytics is enabled: aggregate, non-identifying data about which pages are visited, through Google Analytics. No profiles, no ad targeting.
• Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, address, or payment details on this site.

How we use it

• To send you the newsletter and the build you asked for.
• To understand which guides are useful so we make more of them.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. Ever.

Third-party services

Closed Loop runs on a small set of standard services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Beehiiv stores and sends the newsletter and holds subscriber emails.
• Google Analytics provides aggregate traffic data (when enabled).
• Vercel hosts and serves the site.
• Affiliate partners may set a cookie when you click a gear link, so a purchase is credited. See the affiliate disclosure.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Analytics and affiliate links may set their own; you can block cookies in your browser without breaking the guides, the database, or the planner.

Your choices

Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe. To have your email removed entirely, email jeremy@sustainedecosystem.com and we will delete it.
